H-E-B Creamy Creations Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream Recalled for Undeclared Almonds

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration has announced a recall by H-E-B of its “H-E-B- CREAMY CREATIONS CHERRY VANILLA LIGHT CHURN STYLE HALF-GALLON ICE CREAM” from five stores in Texas. This recall was issued after a customer alerted the company to the presence of undeclared almonds in the ice cream.

The ice cream is being recalled from H-E-B stores in Carrizo Springs, Crystal City, Eagle Pass #2, Lytle, and Pearsall. Containers of the affected cherry vanilla ice cream are stamped with: “SELL BY OCT 19 17 ENJOY BY NOV 18 17.” This is accompanied by the following time stamps: 13:48, 13:49, 13:50, 13:51, 13:52, 13:53, 13:54, 13:55, 13:56, 13:57, or 13:58.

People who are allergic to almonds run the risk of life-threatening illness if they consume this product. They should dispose of it or return it to its place of purchase for a refund.Creamy Creations Cherry Vanilla recall

Consumers who have purchased these salad products should not eat them. Instead, they should be thrown away or returned to the store for a full refund.
