Kitchen Cravings Parfaits and Jin Ramen Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

Two products, Jin Ramen, and Strawberry and Mixed Berry Parfaits, are being recalled for undeclared allergens. Anyone who is allergic to or sensitive to those allergens could have a serious reaction if they eat these products. No allergic reactions or illnesses have been reported to date in either recall.

The first recall is for Ottogi America Jin Ramen products, for undeclared egg. Jin Ramen Mild in 5 pack packages is recalled. The package size is 1 pound 5.16 ounces, with a best before date of August 19, 2019. Also recalled is Jin Ramen Spicy 5 pack, with best before date of August 20, 2019. These products were sold in retail stores nationwide.

Distribution and selling these products has been suspended until the company is sure the problem has been corrected.

The second recall is for Kitchen Cravings Strawberry and Mixed Berry Parfaits, because they contain a trace of tree nuts cashews or almonds. These two products are sold in an 8.25 ounce cup.

The real is initiated after a chocolate covered cashew or almond was discovered in the granola mix provided by an outside supplier. The problem has since been corrected.

The recalled product is Kitchen Cravings Strawberry Parfait, with UPC numberĀ 3977918435. Kitchen Cravings Mixed Berry Parfait, also in an 8.25 ounce cup, has UPC numberĀ 3977918436. Both products were sold at Kwik Trip stores in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and at Kwik Star locations in Iowa. Both products have a Seall by date on or before 12/6/2018.

If you purchased either of these products, do not eat them if you are allergic to the respective allergens. Throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
