Kirkland Harvest Burger Recalled For Foreign Material

Belmont Meat Products is recalling Kirkland Signature brand Harvest Burger – Veggie Burgers because they may contain foreign material, or pieces of metal. This may pose a choking hazard or injury hazard. There have been reported injuries in association with the consumption of this product.

The recall product is Kirkland Signature Harvest Burger – Gourmet Blend – Veggie Burger in 1.7 kg packages. The codes on the product are A 1748 B20 BB/MA: 2019 AL 23 112 and the UPC number is 0 96619 30958 0. It was sold in British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec at the retail level, and may have been sold nationally.

The recall was triggered by a consumer complaint. If you bought this item, do not eat it. Throw it away after first wrapping it well, then place it in a secure garbage can. You can also take it back to the place of purchase for a refund.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is conducting an investigation. This may lead to the recall of other products. If other recalls are necessary, the government will issue more. And the government is making sure that this product is removed from the marketplace.
