Parent’s Choice Infant Formula Recalled For Foreign Material

Perrigo Company is recalling about 23,338 containers of 35 ounce, 992 gram containers of Parent’s Choice Advantage Infant Formula Milk-Based Powder with Iron because there may be foreign material in the product, more specifically, pieces of metal. This could pose a choking hazard, or mouth injury hazard. A single lot of the product is recalled. No adverse events have been reported to the company to date. This recall is being issued “out of an abundance of caution” after a consumer report was received.

The recalled product is Parent’s Choice Advantage Infant Formula Milk-Based Powder with Iron. This product was sold exclusively at Walmart. The lot number of the product is C26EVFV. The formula is sold in 35 ounce (992 gram) containers. The use by date on the formula is February 26, 2021, which is printed on the bottom of the package.

If you purchased this product, do not feed it to your child. You can throw it away in a secure garbage can with a lid, or you can take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund. No other products or retailers are affected by this recall.
