Sirocco Enterprises Issues Allergy Alert on Pat O’Brien’s Bloody Mary Cocktail Mix

Sirocco Enterprises of Jefferson, Louisiana is recalling Pat O’Brien’s Bloody Mary Cocktail Mix because it contains undeclared soy and wheat. The product is distributed throughout the United States in retail stores and online.

  • Pat O’Brien’s Bloody Mary Cocktail Mix
  • 33.8 fluid ounce (1 liter) bottles

An ingredient change caused the problem. The company has halted production and distribution of the product until the problem is corrected. No illnesses have been reported in connection with this product.

Anyone with a wheat and/or soy allergy who consumes this product could have a serious or life-threatening reaction. If you have symptoms of an allergic reaction, including facial swelling, itching or tingling in the mouth, wheezing, dizziness, hives, itching, difficulty breathing, contact a doctor immediately. If severely allergic, anaphylaxis can occur, which causes shock, tightening of airways, a rapid pulse, and loss of consciousness.
