Berres Brothers Coffee Roasters May Contain Undeclared Walnuts

Berres Brothers of Wisconsin is recalling coffee roasters because they may contain undeclared walnuts, one of the major food allergens. Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to tree nuts may have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume these products. No illnesses have been reported as of November 15, 2012.

Berres Brothers Coffee Roasters, Chocolate & Peanut Butter Coffee are recalled, with Julian date codes 12001-12318. The recalled products are 12 ounce (340 gram) regular whole bean and ground coffee with UPC number 746774-003594, 12 ounce (340 gram) decaffeinated whole bean and ground coffee with no UPC number, 2.5 ounce ground coffee with no UPC number, 1.5 ounce (42.5 gram) ground coffee with UPC number 746774-00042, and 5 pound bulk regular whole bean coffee with UPC number 746774-00499.

Also recalled are Berres Brothers Coffee Roasters, Monkey Mocha Coffee with Julian date codes 12271-12318. The sizes include  1.5 ounce (42.5 gram) ground coffee with UPC number 746774-000425 and 5 pound bulk regular whole bean coffee with UPC number 746774-00509.

Finally, Berres Brothers Coffee Roaster, Lunch with Elvis Coffee with Julian date codes 12091-12319 are recalled. Sizes include 1.5 ounce (42.5 gram) ground coffee with UPC number 746774-000425, 12 ounce (340 gram) regular ground and whole bean coffee with no UPC number, 12 ounce (340 gram) decaffeinated ground and whole bean coffee with no UPC number, and 5 pound bulk regular whole bean coffee with UPC number 746774-005093.
