Canadian Food Inspection Agency Recalls Rancid Baby Cereal

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) along with Loblaw Companies Ltd. are voluntarily recalling President’s Choice Organics infant cereals because they may be rancid. The cereals can have a rancid taste and odor. This product was sold in Canada.

All of the cereals are President’s Choice Organics. There has been one illness reported in connection with the consumption of this cereal.

If you have purchased any of these products and they have an unusual or “off” odor, discard them or return to the place of purchase. If your baby has consumed any of these products, be on the lookout for diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting and call your doctor if you are concerned.
