Jammy Sammy™ Snack Sandwich Bars Recalled

Nest Collective™ is voluntarily recalling 815 cases of its Revolution Foods’ brand Jammy Sammy™ snack size sandwich bars because some of the individual bars are mislabeled. Wrappers of some of the individual bars do not state that the product contains peanuts, one of the major food allergens.

Product details:

  • Jammy Sammy™ – Strawberry Jam & Peanut Butter Flavor Snack Size Sandwich Bars
  • 5-count carton
  • “Best by” date of June 28, 2012
  • UPC number 89676600116 6 on the bottom of the package
  • Cartons of the product are sold nationwide at retail outlets and online

No illnesses have been reported in connection with the consumption of this product. The recalled product contains peanuts, but some of the individual bars inside the cartons are incorrectly labeled as Grammy Sammy™ – Honey Graham and Strawberry Yogurt™, a product that does not contain peanuts.

Both product labels do state that they are produced in a facility that processes peanuts and some of the other eight major allergens. The Jammy Sammy™ product is made with organic peanut flour and organic peanut extract.

Consumers who eat this product and are allergic to peanuts could have a serious or life-threatening reaction. If you have purchased this product and are allergic to peanuts, return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
