Newman’s Own Recalls Salad Dressing for Undeclared Milk

Newman’s Own Inc. is recalling Newman’s Own Lite Honey Mustard Dressing because it contains undeclared milk, which is one of the major food allergens. Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk may have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. No other Newman’s Own products are affected, and no illnesses have been reported to date.

Warning Recall SignThe products are sold in retail stores in the Eastern and Midwestern U.S. The product is 16 fl. ounce bottles of the dressing with a sell-by date of 16 OCT 13 M, a time stamp from 12:47 to 13:30, and the UPC number 0 20662 00292 1. The sell-by date is located on the neck label of the bottle.
