Protein powder imported by Upper 49th Importers Inc. in Canada is being recalled because it contains gluten. People with celiac disease and those who are sensitive to gluten, which is a protein in wheat and other grains, may become ill if they consume this product.

On their website, Designer Whey states that all of their products are gluten-free. In fact, their statement says that, “There is no possibility of cross contamination as the manufacturing facility we use does not mix or bottle any products that contain any form of grains.”
