UPDATED: Recall in Canada of Koh-Kae Peanuts Shrimp Flavour Coated Snack

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling Koh-Kae brand Peanut Shrimp Flavour Coated snack products. The product contains milk that is not declared on the label. The update includes two more sizes of the product that have different UPC codes.

  • 230 gram packages
    • UPC number 8 852023 665481
  • 240 gram packages
    • UPC number 8 852023 665481
  • 240 gram packages
    • UPC number 8 852023 665399
  • All codes are affected
  • Product was distributed in Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec, and may have been distributed nationally.

There have not been any reported illnesses associated with consumption of this product. The CFIA is working with importers, distributors, and retailers to recall all of the affected products. For more information, call the CFIA at 1-800-442-2342.
