Food Club Enchilada Sauce Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

Bruce Foods Corporation is recalling mislabeled cans of Food Club Red Enchilada Sauce because it contains undeclared wheat and soy, two of the major food allergens. Anyone with a severe sensitivity or allergy to those ingredients could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume it. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recalled product contains Green Enchilada Sauce instead of Red Enchilada Sauce. It is packaged in 10 ounce cans with code GES 462449 and best before date of 12/3/2016. Only the Food Club Green Enchilada Sauce contains wheat and soy. The product was distributed between 1/15/2013 and 1/16/2013 in Virginia and Minnesota.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to wheat and/or soy, return it to the place of purchase for a refund. For questions, call Larry Thibodeaux at 1-337-365-8101 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CT.
