Badia Cumin Recalled for Undeclared Peanut

Badia Spices Inc. is recalling ground cumin product because it contains an undeclared allergen,  peanut. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts should not eat this product as they run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they do.

PeanutsThe recalled product was packaged in plastic bottles in 2 oz., 7 oz and 16 oz sizes and has been distributed nationwide since July 2014. The recalled 2 oz size has a UPC of 033844-00002-8 and lot number 117151.The recalled 7 oz size has a UPC 033844-00002-8 and lot number 117151. The recalled 16 0z size has  a UPC 033844-00516-0and lot number 116696. All three have “besy by’ dates of 7/2019.

Product was distributed nationwide in retail stores, commencing in July, 2014.
