Market District Apricot and Poppyseed Logs Recalled for Undeclared Milk

poppyseed-logMarket District brand Apricot Logs and Poppyseed Logs are being recalled for the undeclared allergen, milk. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk should not eat these products as they run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they do.  The product does not pose a risk to consumers who do not have milk allergies.

The recalled products were sold individually from the Bakery departments at Giant Eagle and Market District supermarkets. They have sell by dates from November 7, 2015 through November 17, 2015  in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland. At the time of the recall there had been no reported illnesses.

The recalled Market District Apricot Log had the UPC 219772 509998. The recalled Market District Poppyseed Log has the UPC 219773 509997.
