Keebler, Famous Amos Snacks Recalled for Undeclared Peanut

Kellogg Company is recalling some varieties of Mother’s®, Keebler®, Kellogg’s® Special K® brownies, Murray® and Famous Amos® snacks and cookies because they may contain undeclared peanut residue. The company’s supplier, Grain Craft, recalled wheat flour that may have low levels of the residue. Anyone who is allergic to peanuts could have a serious reaction if they consume these products. No reports of related illnesses have been received to date.

You can see the long list of recalled products at the FDA web site, along with the UPC numbers, package sizes, and better if used before dates. They include Keebler® Grahams Cinnamon, Keebler® Animals Crackers, Keebler® Cookie Dough Minis, Famous Amos® Double Chocolate Chip Cookies, Murray® Ginger Snaps, Kellogg’s® Special K® Mini Brownies Fudge, Mothers® Ginger Snaps, and Keebler® Animal Totes, among others.

If you purchased any of these products and are allergic to peanut, do not eat them. Discard the product or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
