Keo Me Den Candy Recalled for Undeclared Peanuts

Country Favor of Maspeth, NY is recalling its “Best Taste Keo Me Den Candy” treats because they contain undeclared peanuts, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to peanuts could have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recalled product is “Best Taste Keo Me Den Candy” in 120 gram packages. It was distributed nationwide in retail stores. It comes in a clear and green 120 gram plastic bag with an expiration date of 2017-12 stamped on the bottom.

Sampling by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspectors discovered the presence of peanuts. If you purchased this product and are allergic to peanuts, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
