Shrimp Balls Recalled for Undeclared Egg

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and TFI Foods are recalling Tasty brand Shrimp Flavoured Ball from the marketplace because it contains undeclared egg, one of the major food allergens. People who are allergic to egg could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No reported reactions associated with this product have been received to date.

The recalled item is Tasty Shrimp Flavoured Ball in 180 gram packages. The code on the product is 16 OC 16 and the UPC number isĀ 8 21964 02029 9. They were sold in British Columbia, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, and Ontario.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to eggs, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
