Mineo & Sapio Beef Patties Recalled for Undeclared Soy

Ford Brothers Wholesale Meats is recalling 4,015 pounds of frozen beef patties because they contain soy, one of the major food allergens, that is not listed on the label. No illnesses or reactions have been reported to date.

The frozen raw beef patties were produced from August 26, 2016 through May 4, 2017. They include 5 pound boxes containing four patties per pound of “MINEO & SAPIO BEEF PATTIES,” 5 pound boxes containing six patties per pound of “MINEO & SAPIO BEEF PATTIES,” 5 pound boxes containing eight patties per pound of “MINEO & SAPIO BEEF PATTIES,” and 5 pound boxes containing ten patties per pound of “MINEO & SAPIO BEEF PATTIES.” They have the establishment number “EST. 4625” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to New York.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to soy, do not eat them. Discard them or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
