SoLo GI Brand Energy Bars Recalled for E. coli O157:H7

New Era Nutrition is recalling SoLo GI brand energy bars in Canada for possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination. The bars were sold nationally and through internet sales. No illnesses have been reported in association with the consumption of these products.

The recalled products are all SoLo GI brand. They are Lemon Lift in 50 gram packages with UPC number 8  97024 00060 0 and codes BB/MA: 11/04/17/ 5410621700, BB/MA: 02/02/18/ 5410630700, and BB/MA: 04/09/18/ 5410700900; and Lemon Lift in 12 x 50 gram packages with UPC number 8 97024 00061 7 and codes BB/MA: 11/04/17/5410621700, BB/MA: 02/02/18/ 5410630700, and BB/MA: 04/09/18/ 5410700900. Also recalled are White Chocolate Cherry in 50 gram packages with UPC number 8 97024 00109 6 and codes BB/MA: 12/22/17/ 5410626600 and BB/MA: 04/12/18/ 5410701200; and White Chocolate Cherry in 12 x 50 gram packages with UPC number 8 97024 00110 2 and codes BB/MA: 12/22/17/ 5410626600 and BB/MA: 04/12/18/ 5410701200. Finally Pineapple Coconut is recalled, in 50 gram packages with UPC number 8 97024 00066 2 and code BB/MA: 02/02/18/ 5410630700; and in 12 x 50 gram packages with UPC number 8 97024 00067 9 and code BB/MA: 02/02/18/ 5410630700.

If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Throw them away in a sealed or double bagged package or take them back to the store where you bought them for a full refund.
