Whole Foods Market is recalling one lot code of Whole Foods Raspberry Cheesecake Gelato because it contains egg, one of the major food allergens, that is not listed on the product label. The UPC number is 9948248024 and the best by date on the package is 6/11/2021. The problem was discovered when a grocer found that some Butter Cookies and Sweet Cream Italian Gelato were mistakenly packed by the company’s suppler in containers that were labeled for Whole Foods Raspberry Cheesecake Italian Gelato.

All of these products have been removed from store shelves, but some are probably in consumers’ freezers. If you purchased this product and can’t eat egg, don’t eat it.
