This poses a tooth injury, mouth injury, choking, and GI tract injury hazard. The recall notice did not state whether or not any injuries have been reported to the company to date in connection with the consumption of this product. The recalling firm is Allo Simonne.

The code is 12-104-26 MA, and the best by date is 10/27. Also recalled is Allo simonne Almond Cardamom Spread that is also packaged in 220 gram containers. The UPC number for this product is 6 28437 31007 3. The code on the product label is 7-104-26 MA, and the best by date is 10/27.

If you purchased either of these two products, do not eat them. You can throw them away in a secure trash can with a tight fitting lid after first double bagging or wrapping them so other people can’t see them, or you can take them back to the store where you bought them for a full refund.
