Buffalo Chicken Rangoon and Benedetto’s Mozzarella Sticks are being recalled for lack of inspection, according to the USDA. No confirmed reports of illness or injury have been reported to the company to date in connection with the consumption of these products. The recalling firm is Shanghai Ravioli Corporation of Boston, Massachusetts.
About 24,900 pounds of frozen, not ready to eat chicken products are included in the recall. They were produced on dates ranging from July 8, 2025 to June 29, 2026. The recalled products include:
Cardboard boxes containing 100 pieces of “BUFFALO CHICKEN RANGOON” and “Sell By” dates from July 8, 2026, to June 29, 2027, represented on the label.
Cardboard boxes containing 120 pieces of “BENEDETTO’S BUFFALO CHICKEN MOZZARELLA STICK” and “Sell By” dates from July 8, 2026, to June 29, 2027, represented on the label.
These items have false marks of inspection with the establishment number EST. 18004, which does not have a federal grant of inspection. They were shipped to foodservice locations in the states of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. You can see more pictures of product labels at the USDA web site.
Food produced without inspection may contain undeclared allergens, harmful bacteria, or other contaminants that can put your health at risk. FSIS is concerned that some of these products may be in foodservice or consumers’ home refrigerators.
Please check to see if you have these products in your business or home. If you do, do not eat them, sell, them, or serve them to others. You can throw them away in a secure trash can after first double bagging them so others can’t see them, or you can contact your distributor and arrange for a return and refund.
