This product was sold nationally at the retail level, and was also sold online, including but not limited to the company’s web site. The recalled item is Foods Alive Moringa Leaf Powder that is packaged in 8 ounce green stand up pouches. The center of the pouch is white, with the name of the product and a photo of it. The “freshest by” date is 110127, and the number 02726 is stamped below that date. This item was shipped between January 27, 2026 and August 7, 2026.
The recall was triggered when the company was told by their supplier that a sample of their super green powder mix, collected at retail, tested positive for Salmonella. The source of the contamination has not been determined. The company has stopped production and distribution of this item until the investigation is complete.
If you purchased this dietary supplement product, do not eat it. You can throw it away in a secure trash can after first double bagging the pouch so other people can’t see it, or you can take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
