In Canada, Beef Jerky Made from Rancho Feeding Products Recalled

In Canada, Tillamook Country Smoker beef jerky products by Crown Star Food Distributors and Wallace & Carey are being recalled because they were made from Rancho Feeding Corporation products. Rancho processed diseased and unsound animals and carried out these activities without federal inspection. The products are considered adulterated and unsound and unfit for human consumption.

The recalled products include Tillamook Country Smoker Teriyaki Beef Jerky in 75 count (various weights) size. The UPC number is 0 51943 25080 9 and the codes on the products are 12053 and 22053. Also recalled are Tillamook Country Smoker Loonies Beef Jerky in 80 count (various weight) size. The UPC number is 0 51943 47941 5 and the codes on the product are 11443, 21443, 11573, and 21573. No illnesses have been associated with the consumption of these products.

If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Return them to the place of purchase for a refund or discard them in a closed container.
