Sweet Leaf Tea is Being Recalled for Glass Fragments

sweet-leaf-tea-recallSweet Leaf Tea in 16 ounce glass bottles is being recalled because it may contain glass fragments. People who have purchased the tea should not drink it as they risk injury if they do.

The recalled teas were distributed between February 27, 2015 and December 6, 2015. They are: Sweet Leaf Tea Raspberry with bottle label UPC 6-51538-06703-6; Sweet Leaf Half and Half Lemonade Tea with bottle label UPC 6-51538-06708-1; Sweet Leaf Tea Original with bottle label UPC 6-51538-06700-5, Sweet Leaf Tea Green Tea w/Citrus with bottle label UPC 6-51538-06720-3; Sweet leaf Tea Peach with bottle label UPC 6-51538-06704-3 and Sweet Leaf Tea Mint & Honey with bottle label 6-51538-06701-2.

All recalled products are being removed from store shelves. Consumers who have any of the glass products with the affected date codes can contact the Sweet Leaf toll-free number 1-877-832-5323 Monday through Friday 8am – 8pm EST for replacement product, or return the product to the store of purchase for a refund.
