Milky Way International Trading Corp. is voluntarily recalling Nice! Peach Slices and Nice! Mixed Fruit because they may contain glass fragments, posing an injury or choking hazard. There has been one consumer complaint about glass in the peaches, but none on the mixed fruits.
This product was sold in Walgreens stores. The recalled products are Item #80894 Nice! Brand Peach Slices in Light Syrup 8 ounce, with lot number 3700/01069 12/15/2017, UPC number 0-49022-80894-2, and case UPC number 100-49022-80894-9. Also recalled is Item #80896 Nice! Brand Mixed Fruit in Light Syrup 8 ounce, with lot number 3700/01069 12/08/2017, UPC number 0-49022-80896-6, and case UPC number 100-49022-80896-3.
If you have purchased either of these products, do not eat them. Throw them away in a sealed container or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. You can see pictures of product labels at the FDA web site.
