Osage Gardens Micro Greens Recalled for Possible Salmonella

Osage Gardens is recalling Osage Gardens Organic Micro Greens because it may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

The recalled product is Osage Gardens Organic 2 ounce Micro Greens packaged in a clear plastic clamshell. The label on the bottom has the UPC number 709376615008 and affected products are dated with Julian codes from 266 to 279’. They were distributed to Whole Foods stores in Colorado and Kansas.

The recall is a result of routine sampling by the FDA, which found that the product contained the bacteria. Osage Gardens has stopped production and distribution of this product and is conducting an investigation.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away in a double bagged or sealed container or take it back to the store where you bought it for a refund. Wash your hands well with soap and water after handling this product.
