Roasted Red Pepper Strips Recalled for Glass Fragments

Roland Foods LLC is voluntarily recalling specific lots of Roland® Fire Roasted Red Pepper Strips because of possible presence of glass fragments. No illnesses or injuries relating to the consumption of this product have been reported to date. Consumer complaints of glass in the product prompted the recall. The manufacturer of this product is in Peru.

Roland Red Pepper Strips RecallThe product was distributed nationwide and to Canada to food distributors, food service customers, and supermarket chains. The recalled product is Roland® Fire Roasted Red Pepper Strips in a 5 pound 8 ounce can. The item number is 45628 and the lot numbers are 427, 428, 432, and 437. The UPC numbers are 10041224456287  for the carton and 041224456280 for the individual cans. No other sizes of Fire Roasted Red Pepper Strips or Roland® products are affected by this recall

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
