Dos Hermanos Recalls Uninspected Beef Jerky

Dos Hermanos of Illinois is recalling about 151 pounds of beef jerky products that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection. It is not known when or under wheat conditions the items were produced. A compliance investigator from Kansas observed beef jerky that did not have any state or federal marks of inspection. No adverse reactions have been reported to date.

The product is Carne Seca Beef Jerky: Chinas Natural sold in 8 ounce packages. They do not have the federal mark of inspection. The beef jerky was shipped to retail locations in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri between the dates of October 26, 2016 through February 23, 2017.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
