Dos Hermanos Recalls Uninspected Beef Jerky

Dos Hermanos of Illinois is recalling about 151 pounds of beef jerky products that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection. It is not known when or under wheat conditions the items were produced. A compliance investigator from Kansas observed beef jerky that did not have any state or federal marks of inspection. No adverse reactions have been reported to date. The product is Carne Seca Beef Jerky: Chinas Natural sold in 8 ounce packages. They do not have the federal mark of inspection. The beef jerky was shipped to retail locations in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri between the dates of October 26, 2016 through February 23, 2017. If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Panna Cafe Recalls Uninspected Meat and Poultry Products

Panna Cafe Express to Go of Florida is recalling 1,951 pounds of various meat and poultry products that were produced without federal inspection. The company used USDA marks of inspection without authorization, according to the USDA. You can see the long list of recalled products at the USDA web site, with best by dates and UPC numbers. Frozen Swai Fillets Recall Expands Again

The recall of frozen Swai fillets by U.S. Cado Holdings is being expanded again. In the first recall on June 20, 2016, 25,760 pounds of the products were recalled. The first expansion was for another 2,235 pounds of products on June 25, and an additional 1,650 pounds are now being recalled. The product is imported from Vietnam, and was brought into the country and distributed without meeting FSIS requirements about residue sampling and testing. The recalled product is Deep Water Sea Food brand Frozen Swai fillets in 15 pound boxes. The Production Date is 04/05/2016 and the "Best Before Date" is 10/05/2017. Recall of Frozen Swai Fillets for Lack of Inspection Expanded

U.S. Cado Holdings is recalling 2,235 additional pounds of imported, frozen Swai fillets that were distributed without meeting federal importation requirements. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to the consumption of these products. The products were imported from Vietnam and were not tested for residue. The original recall on June 20, 2016 was for 25,760 pounds of the product. The expanded recall includes skinless and boneless Delta's Best Basa Swai Fillets that were produced and packaged on March 1, 9, and 16, 2016 in Vietnam by Golden Quality Seafood Corporation. Greenland Trading Recalls Squab Produced Without Inspection

Greenland Trading Company of New Jersey is recalling about 12,672 pounds of squab produced without the benefit of inspection. The squab (domesticated pigeon) was imported from France. Without the benefit of full inspection, a possibility of adverse health consequences exists. No illnesses have been reported to date. The squab was imported from a French establishment that was not eligible to export meat or poultry to the United States. It was imported June 21, 2014, August 16, 2014, and February 16, 2015.
