L.A. Lucky Basil Seeds Recalled for Possible Salmonella

L.A. Lucky Import & Export is recalling L.A. Lucky brand Basil Seeds because there may be Salmonella bacteria in the packet. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this issue.

The recalled product was distributed nationwide in retail stores October 1, 2015 to May 15, 2017. The seeds are in a 2.1 ounce clear plastic package with UPC numberĀ 820678201697. There are no other codes on the product.

Routine testing by the company revealed the presence of Salmonella in some packages. If you purchased this product, do not use it. Throw it away or take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
