Masa’s Gourmet Sauces Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Rikki USA is recalling some Masa’s Gourmet Sauces for undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to milk or who is lactose intolerant could have a serious reaction if they eat these products. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The products were distributed in California, Illinois, New York, Oregon, and Washington and also through retail stores “in close proximity” to the distributors. The recalled products include Sweet and Sour Sauce in 12 ounce glasses, Curry Coconut Sauce in 12 ounce glasses, and Pulled Pork BBQ Sauce in 12 ounce glasses. You can see the lot codes, subsequent best by dates, and UPC numbers of the recalled sauces at the FDA web site.

If you bought these products and cannot eat milk, don’t eat them. Throw them away or take them back to the place of purchase for a full refund.
