Soluciones Cosméticas is voluntarily recalling all lots of Bersih Hand Sanitizer Gel Fragrance Free because it may contain methanol, or wood alcohol, that can be toxic when applied to the skin. Methanol exposure can result in vomiting, nausea, headache, blurred vision, permanent blindness, coma, seiners, permanent damage to the nervous system or death. Anyone using these products on their hands are at risk. In addition, any children who may accidentally drink these products are in extreme danger.

The recalled product is Bersih Hand Sanitizer Gel Fragrance Free and is sold in 16.9 ounce plastic clear bottles with blue tops at the retail, or consumer, level. The UPC number on the product is 816822026667. The lot numbers for this hand sanitizer range from 0106K01 to 0148K01. The hand sanitizer was distributed nationwide to wholesale distributors and retailers.

The company is notifying its distributors by voluntary recall letter, and consumers by this press release. If you purchased this product, stop using it immediately. Either contact the company for disposal instructions or take it back to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
