Wegmans Pecan Blend Trail Mix Recalled For Undeclared Almonds Walnuts

Flagstone Foods of Robersonville, North Carolina is recalling Wegmans Pecan Blend Trail Mix because it may contain almonds and walnuts, or tree nuts, that are not declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to almonds and/or walnuts could have a serious allergic reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to the company to date.

The recalled product is Wegmans Pecan Blend Trail Mix that is packaged in 16 ounce, plastic stand-up resealable packages. The UPC number on the product is 0-77890-31040-3, and the lot code, printed on the bottom right hand side of the package, is 05M04300. The best by date is JAN 29 2021.

This recalled product was sold in retail stores in Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Flagstone Foods is initiating the voluntary recall out of an abundance of caution to protect public health.

The recall was started after a customer notified the firm that the product contained almonds and walnuts that weren’t listed on the ingredient statement on the packaging.

If you bought this product and are allergic to walnuts and/or almonds, don’t eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Symptoms of a tree nut allergy can include hives, swelling of the lips, tingling of the lips, throat, tongue, and mouth, itching skin, hives, a runny nose, tightening of the throat, cramps, stomach pain, nausea, or vomiting. Anyone experiencing these symptoms should see a doctor as soon as possible.
