The Bettergoods Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine recall for possible Listeria monocytogenes is being expanded to include all lot codes. The original recall was issued by the company on September 15, 2026. No illnesses have been reported to the company to date in connection with the consumption of this product. The recalling firm is Gias Foods of New York, New York.

This item was sold nationwide at Walmart stores. The recalled product, Bettergoods Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine, is sold frozen in yellow plastic 22 ounce pouches. There is a picture of the product on the front, and the lettering is in red and black. The UPC number that is stamped on the label is 194346442706.
The recall was triggered because of routine sampling conducted by the Washington State Department of Agriculture and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The tests found that the product may be contaminated with Listeria.
If you purchased this product, do not eat it, even if you plan to heat it thoroughly, because of the possibility of cross-contamination. And remember that freezing does not kill Listeria bacteria.
You can throw the product away in a secure trash can with a tight lid after first double bagging the pasta so other people can’t see it, or you can take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund. Wash your hands well with soap and water after handling this item.
If you ate this pasta, especially if it was reheated in the microwave, which can leave cold spots where the bacteria would not be destroyed, monitor your health for the symptoms of listeriosis for the next 70 days. If you do get sick, see your doctor.
