Summerhill Market Raspberries and Products Recalled For Norovirus

Summerhill Market raspberries and products made with raspberries are being recalled in Canada for possible norovirus contamination. The recall was triggered by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency during an investigation into a foodborne illness outbreak. But there have not been any illnesses reported that are associated with the consumption of these specific products. The recalling firm is Summerhill Market.

These items were sold at the retail level in the province of Ontario. The recalled items were sold at these Summerhill Market locations: 446 Summerhill Avenue in Toronto, 3609 Dundas Street West in York, 484 Eglinton Avenue West in Toronto, 1054 Mount Pleasant Road in Toronto, 32 Wellington Street West in Aurora, and 1014 Bathurst Street in Toronto. They were sold from July 29, 2026 up to and including September 15, 2026.

The recalled items include unbranded Protein Power Pod Raspberry that is packaged in 135 gram containers. The UPC number on the label is 0 56647 16430 8.

The following are all Summerhill Market brands. They include Frozen Raspberries sold in 800 gram packages with UPC number 0 56647 15698 3, Frozen Berry Mix packaged in 900 gram containers with UPC number 0 56647 15706 5, and Frozen Smoothie Mix, packaged in 900 gram containers with UPC number 0 56647 15705 8.

If you purchased any of these products, do not eat them. You can throw them away in a secure trash can with a tight fitting lid after first double bagging or wrapping the packages so other people can’t see them, or you can take them back to the store where you bought them for a full refund. Wash your hands with soap and water after handling these products.
