These sandwiches were sold in the cities of Ann Arbor and Brighton, Michigan at three of the Blank State Creamery store locations. The recalled product is Blank State Creamery Vegan Nondairy Frozen Dessert Coconut Fudge Sandwiches that are packaged in a 4.5 ounce clear plastic bag. The best by dates for this item are 11/23/26 and 1/9/27.
The recall was triggered when Rooted in Rare Aquafaba was recalled for undeclared egg on July 31, 2026. This product was used to make these dessert sandwiches.
If you purchased these sandwiches and you cannot consume egg, do not eat them. You can throw the sandwiches away in a secure trash can with a tight fitting lid, after first double bagging or wrapping them so other people can’t see them, or you can take them back to the store where you bought them for a full refund.
