Jaime’s Spanish Village Jalapeño Ranch Dressing is being recalled because it contains eggs, one of the nine major food allergens, that is not declared on the product label as required by the FDA. Anyone who is allergic to or sensitive to eggs could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to the company to date in connection with the consumption of this item. The recalling firm is Jaime’s Foods ATX of Austin, Texas.
This product was sold at Central Market retail stores in Texas and local independent retailers in Austin, Texas, beginning on April 3, 2026. You can see more pictures of the recalled product at the FDA web site.
The recalled product is Jaime’s Spanish Village Jalapeño Ranch Dressing the is packaged in 16 ounce glass jars. The green and yellow label has black printing. The UPC number that is stamped on the product label is 199284564923. Recalled lot numbers include the following: 69, 86, 108, 113, 116, and 121. The lot code can be found stamped on the bottom of the jar.
The recall was triggered when the company found that the allergen egg was left off of the ingredient list and allergen warning. The omission was discovered during an FDA inspection of the facility where the dressing is bottled.
If you purchased this product and cannot consume egg, do not eat it. You can throw it away in a secure trash can, or you can take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
