Coaticook White Cheddar Cheese is being recalled in Canada for possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. No illnesses have been reported to the company to date in connection with the consumption of these products. The recalling firm is Laiterie de Coaticook Limitée.

The cheeses were sold at the retail level in the province of Quebec. You can see more pictures of the recalled products at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency web site.
You can also see the very long list of recalled cheeses there, along with the package size, UPC numbers, and codes, along with the expiration dates. Some of the recalled cheeses include Coaticook White Cheddar Mild, Mild Cheddar Curds, Mild Cheddar Onion Curds, Mild Cheddar Dill Curds, Mild Cheddar White Curds, and Mild Cheddar Hickory Curds, among others.
Please check your refrigerator to see if you bought any of these products. If you did, do not eat them. You can throw them away in a secure garbage can with a tight fitting lid after first double bagging or wrapping them so other people can’t see them, or you can take them back got the store where you purchased them for a full refund.
If you ate any of these cheeses, monitor your health for the symptoms of listeriosis, the illness caused by this pathogen, for the next 70 days. If you do get sick, see your doctor.
