Food to Live greens and powders are being recalled for possible Salmonella contamination. Because this recall notice was posted on the FDA’s Enforcement Reports page, and not the regular recall page, there is no information about whether or not any illnesses have been reported to the company to date in connection with the consumption of these products. The recalling firm is Lexunder of Brooklyn, New York.
These recalled products were sold at the retail level in these states: Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, N ew Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. No pictures of the recalled products were provided in the notice.

The recalled product include Organic SuperGrass Powder, Organic Supergreens Mix, Moringa Leaf Powder, Organic Kale Powder, Wheatgrass Powder, Organic Wheatgrass Powder, Organic Spirulina Powder, Organic Algae Powder Mix,and Kale Powder.
If you purchased any of these products in those package sizes with those UPC numbers and lot codes, do not consume them. You can throw them away in a secure trash can with a tight fitting lid after first double bagging or wrapping them so other people can’t see them, or you can take them back to the store where you bought them for a full refund.
