PK Roasted Lemon N’ Chilli Peanuts are being recalled in Canada for possible Salmonella contamination. No illnesses have been reported to the company to date in connection with the consumption of this product. The recalling firm is Everest Traders Inc.

This product was sold in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec at the retail level. You can see more pictures of the recalled product at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency web site.
The recalled product is PK Roasted Lemon N’ Chilli Peanuts that are packaged in a bright yellow plastic 65 gram bag. The printing on the package is in a deep green color, and there’s a picture of the product on the front of the package. The UPC number that is stamped on the product label is 6 28998 001245. The batch number is CN94, and the best by date is June 20, 2027.
If you bought this product, do not eat it. You can throw it away in a secure trash can with a tight fitting lid after first double bagging or wrapping the item so other people can’t see it, or you can take it back to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
If you ate this product, monitor your health for the symptoms of Salmonella food poisoning for the next week. If you do get sick, see your doctor.
