The toys violate the mandatory safety standard for toys because the silicone strings on the product are smaller and longer than permitted. The strings can reach the back of the throat and become lodged, posing a risk of respiratory distress and a deadly choking hazard. No injuries have been reported to the company to date in connection with this issue. The recalling firm is the importer, SHEIN Distribution Corporation of Los Angeles, California. The toy was manufactured in China.

The recalled product is Pull & Chew Montessori Teething Toys. The toys are green, pink, yellow, or blue and have four strings in various colors. They are packaged in a clear and white plastic pouches with “BABY PRODUCTS” and “Crafted in Gentle Care” printed on the front. The product’s SKU numbers are sa25092843915310553, sa2404237092800828, or sa251115653050553503, and are printed on the front of the package. The manufacturer’s name and address, product date, and batch code are stamped on the front and back of the package. This toy was sold online at the company’s web site from December 2025 through April 2026 for about $10.00. There are about 644 units of the product that are affected by this recall.
If you bought this product, stop using it and immediately take it away from children. You can contact the company for a refund. You will be asked to cut the toy’s silicone strings and send a photo of the destroyed toy to the company.
