Heinz Baby Food Recalled in Canada for Spoilage

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Heinz Canada are recalling Heinz brand Chicken with Broth from the marketplace because the jars may not have sealed properly, causing spoilage. No illnesses have been reported to date. The recalled product is Heinz Chicken with Broth in 100 ml containers. The codes on the product are 2016SE26 and 2016DE12 and the UPC number is 0 571660 7. This item was sold nationally at the retail level. If you did feed your baby this product, monitor her for symptoms. Those may include upset stomach, vomiting, and diarrhea. If your child does get sick, take her to a doctor and tell the doctor she ate this food. If you purchased this product, do not use it. Beef Jerky Recalled for Undeclared Allergens in Canada

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and East Coast Beef Jerky are recalling beef jerky for undeclared fish, milk, mustard, and wheat, four of the major food allergens. People who are allergic to those ingredients run the risk of a serious reaction if they eat this product. There is no word on whether or not any illnesses have been reported to date. The recalled product is East Coast Beef Jerky in 150 gram packages. All packages where fish, milk, mustard, and wheat are not declared on the label are recalled. There is no UPC number. The products were sold in New Brunswick at the retail level. If you purchased this product and are allergic to wheat, milk, fish, or mustard, do not eat it. Great Pacific Burritos Recalled for No Inspection

Vern's and Sons Food Service of Oregon is recalling 450 pounds of beef and chicken burritos that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection and outside inspection hours. No reports of illness have been reported. The recalled items are 10 ounce individually wrapped "Great Pacific Beef Verde Burrito" and 10 ounce individually wrapped "Great Pacific Chicken Chipotle Burrito". They have the establishment number "P-34723" or "Est. 34723" inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were produced on April 2, 2015 and were shipped to retail locations in Oregon and Washington. Central Market Salmon Jerky Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

World Wide Gourmet Foods is recalling 2,916 packages of Central Market Teriyaki Salmon Jerky because it may contain undeclared wheat and soy, two of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to those two ingredients could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date. The recalled product is Central Market Teriyaki Salmon Jerky, which was mislabeled on the back side as Central Market Smoked Salmon Jerky, which omits the presence of wheat and soy on the label. It was distributed to HEB stores in Texas between 2/27/15 and 4/3/15. The lot codes are 35337001, 35168001, and 35542001. Also recalled are Nature's Eats Natural Macadamia Nuts in 6 ounce cello bags. Sobeys Chicken Salads Recalled for Possible Listeria in Canada

Sobeys is recalling some in-store prepared salads in Canada for possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
