Great Pacific Burritos Recalled for No Inspection

Vern's and Sons Food Service of Oregon is recalling 450 pounds of beef and chicken burritos that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection and outside inspection hours. No reports of illness have been reported. The recalled items are 10 ounce individually wrapped "Great Pacific Beef Verde Burrito" and 10 ounce individually wrapped "Great Pacific Chicken Chipotle Burrito". They have the establishment number "P-34723" or "Est. 34723" inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were produced on April 2, 2015 and were shipped to retail locations in Oregon and Washington. Central Market Salmon Jerky Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

World Wide Gourmet Foods is recalling 2,916 packages of Central Market Teriyaki Salmon Jerky because it may contain undeclared wheat and soy, two of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to those two ingredients could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date. The recalled product is Central Market Teriyaki Salmon Jerky, which was mislabeled on the back side as Central Market Smoked Salmon Jerky, which omits the presence of wheat and soy on the label. It was distributed to HEB stores in Texas between 2/27/15 and 4/3/15. The produt has a purple Central Market Teriyaki Salmon Jerky front label, and a back label indicating Central Market Smoked Salmon Jerky. Texas Star Nut and Food Company is expanding its March recall of products for Salmonella contamination to include more products. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of these products. The recalled items are Nature's Eats Mustang Island Macadamia Sunrise in 14 ounce cello bags. The lot codes are 35337001, 35168001, and 35542001. Also recalled are Nature's Eats Natural Macadamia Nuts in 6 ounce cello bags. The lot codes for that product are 31133001, 31435001, 35014001, and 35352001. Finally, Central Market brand Natural Macadamia Nuts in 6 ounce cello bags is recalled.
