Pittsburgh Food Bank Recalls Mandarin Oranges

Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank has issued a recall of one lot of Imperial Choice Mandarin Oranges Broken Segments in Light Syrup because the product may be contaminated by with pathogens, which could lead to serious or life-threatening illness if consumed. The recall affects cans marked with code 4200/01029. Some of the cans from this lot may leak, bulge or burst open. Others appear normal. The recall only involves product that was distributed August 2015 through January 2016 through the Food Bank's network of pantries throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. Nice Brand Mandarin Oranges Recalled for Potential Glass Pieces

Milky Way International Trading Corp. is recalling of Nice! brand Mandarin oranges in 8-ounce bottles because they may contain glass pieces. Consumers who have purchased this product should not eat it. At the time of the recall, there had been three complaints, and one alleged injury reported. The recalled product was distributed to Walgreens stores nationwide. The recalled Mandarin Oranges in Light Syrup, Item # 80895, have the following identifying information: Case UPC 100-49022-80895-6, Bottle Label UPC  0-49022-80895-9 and lot numbers H894K09A  01/11/2017; 4200/01039   01/16/2018; or 4200/01039   02/01/2018.
