In Canada, Asian Legend Fried Noodles Recalled for Undeclared Egg

In Canada, Asian Legend fried noodle entrees are being recalled for undeclared egg. The recall, issued June 24,  has been updated to include additional product information. People with an allergy to egg should not consume the recalled products described below as they allergic reaction if they do. The recalled products are Asian Legend Fried Noodles with Shredded Beef sold in 500 g packages with use by date FEB 03 2017 and UPC 8 36520 00051 6;  and Asian Legend Fried Noodles with Shredded Pork in 500 g packages with use by date FEB 03 2017 and UPC 8 36520 00052 3. Red Bowl Wontons, Dumplings Recalled for Undeclared Egg

Red Bowl Foods Corporation of Brooklyn, N.Y.  is recalling approximately 10,198 pounds of wonton and dumpling products because they contain an undeclared allergen, egg. Consumers with egg allergies should not eat this product as they risk serious reaction if they do. The recalled products were sold from July 17, 2014 to June 16, 2016.  They include: 10.2-lb. cases containing 6 bags with 50 pieces of Red Bowl “Chicken & Shrimp Wonton;” 12.4-lb. cases containing 4 bags with 50 pieces of Red Bowl “Pork Dumpling;” 11.2-lb. cases containing 4 bags with 50 pieces of Red Bowl “Pork and Shrimp Dumpling. Chelsea Food Services Cheese Spread Recall for Undeclared Egg

Chelsea Food Services of Denver is recalling Jarlsberg Cheese Spread with Cookies and Cream Dessert labeling, because it contains undeclared eggs. People who have an allergy or sensitivity to eggs should not eat this product as they run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they do. The recalled product, distributed in Colorado to King Soopers and City Market Stores, was packed in plastic containers with a net wt. 6.6 oz., an expiration date of 05/13/16 and are marked  “Made for King Soopers.” At the time of the recall, no illnesses had been reported. In Canada, there are several recalls for fish and seafood products that contain undeclared egg. They include: Five Star International Ltd. recalled Yuki brand Sushi Style Imitation Crab Stick for undeclared egg. The recalled product was distributed in Ontario. They were sold in 500g sizes with Best Before date 05MAR2017 and UPC 8 854241 004424. Chongga brand Fish Cake products have been recalled for undeclared egg. The recalled products were sold in Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. Whole Foods Recall of Asparagus, Pea and Ricotta Salad

Whole Foods Market is recalling ten ounce packages of Asparagus, Pea and Ricotta salad for undeclared egg. Consumers who are allergic to egg should not eat this product as they could experience a severe allergic reaction. At the time of the recall, no illnesses had been reported. The problem was a result of mislabeling. The packages actually contain miniature Asparagus, Sun Dried Tomato and Swiss Frittatas. Because of the labeling error, an egg allergen was undeclared. The recalled product was produced at the Whole Foods Market North Atlantic Kitchen in Everett, Massachusetts and distributed in five states.
