Campylobacter Cases From Family Cow Milk Rise to 60

According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the number of confirmed cases of those sickened with Campylobacter linked to raw milk from Shankstead Ecofarm, packaged as Your Family Cow, has risen to 60.

Food Poisoning Bulletin reported yesterday that cases had risen to 51. The dairy reopened Tuesday after passing a state health inspection.

The Maryland Department of Health reported last week that Campylobacter was found in unopened cartons of raw milk taken from the farm.
