Humai Trading Dried Lily Recalled For Undeclared Sulfites

Humei Trading Inc of Jamaica , NY  is recalling packages of  “Dried Lily” because they contained undeclared sulfites. Consumers who have severe sensitivity to sulfites should not eat this product as they run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they do. The product was sold in 340g (12oz) packages an distributed only in Flushing, NY.

Recall SignageThe problem was discovered during routine sampling by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspectors and subsequent analysis. The recalled product was found to contain 409.1 ppm per serving. No illnesses or allergic reactions involving this product have been reported to date.
