Back to Nature Recalls Chocolate Products for Undeclared Milk

Back to Nature of Florida is recalling four products in various sizes that were made with chocolate from a third party supplier that contained undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. There is no word on whether or not any illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported.

The recalled products are 11 ounce packages of Chocolate Delight Granola, with UPC number 19898-01201 and best by dates of 12/25/16 – 7/27/17; and 11 ounce packages of Dark Chocolate Coconut Granola with UPC number 19898-01225 and best by dates 5/9/17 – 8/14/17. Also recalled are Chocolate Chunk Cookies in 9.5 ounce packages with UPC number 19898-01100 and best by dates 5/8/17 – 5/12/17; and Mini Chocolate Chunk Cookies in 6 x 1.25 ounce packages with tray UPC number 19898-01114 and pouch UPC number 19898-01115 and best by date 5/1/17. Finally, Mini Chocolate Chunk Cookies in 100 x 1.25 ounce packages are recalled, with case UPC number 19898-01148 and pouch UPC number 19898-01115 and best by date 5/1/17; and Mini Chocolate Chunk Cookies in 9 x 2.5 ounce packages with caddy UPC number 19898-01144 and pouch UPC number 19898-01143 and best by date 5/1/17.

These products were distributed to retail stores nationwide. If you purchased any of these products and are allergic to milk or have lactose intolerance, do not eat them. Throw them away or take them back to the place of purchase for a full refund.
