Halawa of Tahini Pistachio Recalled in Canada for Salmonella

Dijla & Al-Forat Market in Ontario, Canada is recalling Bustan brand Halawa of Tahini Pistachio for possible Salmonella contamination. It was sold at Dijla & Al-Forat Market at 701 Wyandotte Street East in Windsor, Ontario. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

The recalled product is Bustan brand Halawa of Tahini Pistachio in 400 gram packages. The code on the product is Best Befor APril 2018 (sic) and the UPC number isĀ 6 210393 261252.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away in a sealed or double bagged packages or take it back to the place of purchase for a full refund.
