Jalebi Recalled for Undeclared Almonds

Rajbhog Distributors of Georgia is recalling 1,467 packets of Jalebi, which is similar to funnel cakes, because it m ay contain undeclared almonds. Tree nuts are one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to almonds could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date.The recalled product is Jalebi packets, with code numbers P026 and P027. They were distributed to grocery stores in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The packets are packed in clear containers. Almonds are used as toppings to garnish this Indian dessert.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to almonds, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
